Welcome to BARIG!
BARIG, the Board of Airline Representatives in Germany e. V. represents and supports the interests of more than 100 airlines doing business in Germany.
BARIG members are national and international carriers as well as cargo airlines.
The organisation is located in Frankfurt / Main and since their foundation in 1951 responsible for the distributional and operational conditions of the aviation market in Germany. The aviation industry is a growing industry. To foster the business location Germany, BARIG has formulated the following goals:
- Creation of adequate infrastructure
- Lowering of costs
- Red Tape reduction
BARIG represents the interests of its member airlines adverse politics, economy and industry. So it is one of the main tasks of BARIG to take part in negotiations concerning legislation acts and charges or fees. Next to this all other topics concerning aircraft noise, environmental issues and security and safety are of importance for BARIG.
